What scares people most is probably the discovery of truth, not the journey itself.
There are those that having found the truth are not compelled to act on it, or their fear envelopes them and becomes greater than their need to live a life of honesty and integrity. Fear can cripple us and bring down the strongest of man – courage, it’s opposite, is difficult to muster. Yet, without being courageous and acting upon what we believe is true we lose our sense of ourselves and the ability to look in the mirror with dignity. When we live by our fears and not through courage we reduce ourselves to puppets, not living beings.
